Why We Developed
the App
We are passionate about improving health and healthcare and we believe patients are the greatest untapped resource to help make improvements.
We have had long careers in healthcare and are retired. As retirees, with our own emerging health problems, we find ourselves confronting a difficult health care system.
A system that frequently doesn’t welcome our desire to become partners in improving our own health. We struggle to gain access to great Providers and reliable healthcare information.
When we find great Providers, we rarely find a “system” willing to partner with us to meet our healthcare needs. We became frustrated as family members, friends and colleagues called us for help when they encountered a fractured healthcare system.
We decided to make impactful improvements in achieving better healthcare.
Building on successes we had, we created The Great-Patient App to help others become Great Patients.
